Of curved shape to better fit in a pocket, the lid embossed with a dragon and a rectangular plate engraved with the initials "M.B.", matted and gilt inner compartment, struck with the "STERLING" mark. An interesting piece, from the period of the international mission of 1900-1901 during the Boxer rebellion. Extremely fine condition, nice patina. Dim.: 80,0 x 110,5 mm. I R!

At the top, it features a relief portrait of a figure in profile wearing a jester-style hood with a tied chin strap. Likely used as a small ashtray, coin dish, or key holder. Late 19th to early 20th century. Dim.: 13x12 cm; 2. Art Nouveau decorative metal dish shaped like a large leaf, featuring finely detailed relief work of flowers, vines, and butterflies.
