Beautifully hand crafted ornamental piece resembling a ceremonial mask. Radiant, metallic surface, GOLD sheet, adorned with polished, marble-like stones in deep red, green, and blue. The design is symetrical and intricate, with a semicircular headdress decorated with swirling and geometric motifs. Two stylized bird-like figures hang on each side, while three teardrop-shaped pendants dangle below, adding a sense of movement and elegance.Lambayeque culture. On a velvet baking and can be hanged. Dim: total, 20.5 x 20.5 cm. I Superb and highly attractive!

Very rare: DROZ (Gustave, attributed to) - A SUMMER IN THE COUNTRYSIDE, fragments of correspondence from two young Parisians, decorated with B&W chisel engravings and Ming's pen drawings - Private edition (16,5 x 12,5 cm), 48 pages, cardboard parchment gray, copy countersigned by the illustrator, 3rd large paper N 24 (small edition of 150) on luxury bouffant paper. In the continuity of the famous original 1868 edition of Poulet-Malassis, our edition, probably clandestine printed during the Second World War, echoes the shamelessness of society under the Second Empire. Good condition, small skin at the back.This absolutely untraceable edition is not in the inventory of any library. RR!

MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF GIUSEPPINA GRASSINI IN THE ROLE OF �ZAIRA�
Painted after the famous, larger portrait of the famous Italian singer, by E. Viget Lebrun (where the velvet robe is red); 180x99 mm., the cardboard fixed to the reverse, bears an old, handwritten label with �Zaira 1805� (the date when Grassini was on stage in London to sing in von Winter�s opera, when probably she met the Duke of Wellington for the first time, in its original, fire-gilt, rococo frame with suspension ring to the upper reverse. A beautiful portrait, done by a finest hand, possibly the same Viget Lebrun herself, excellent condition. Provenance: the estate of the opera singer Giuseppina Grassini, by descent. I
