Breast Badge of reduced size, 39x25 mm, GOLD, 7.1 g., both sides enameled (minor restorations), both central medallions GOLD, enameled, original suspension ring and ribbon. An extremely rare model of the creation, of superb quality! II RR!

Military Order of St. Hermenegildo
Grand Cross of the type awarded between 1944 and 1951. Sash Badge, 48x37 mm., gilt Silver, with white enameled cross`s arms, centre medallion with separately-made image of the saint riding a horse within blue enameled outer circlet with the Order`s motto "PREMIO A LA CONSTANCIA MILITAR"; reverse with centre medallion bearing the founder`s mono- gram "F. VII"; imperial crown suspension, ring and original full length sash. Breast Star, 62 mm., partially gilt Silver, the centre with the Saint on sky-blue enamel, white enameled outer circlet with the Order`s motto, the whole surrounded by a green enameled laurel wreath, on reverse thin, round pin and two side-hooks. A superb set, in excellent condition. I

Lapel Miniature of the Order’s collar, 71,5 mm., GOLD, made of a double chainlet composed by six links of tied, crossed arrows, five oval medallions with the gold orbs and pale/dark blue enameled details, to which is suspended the miniature of the Order’s cross in gold and enamels (vertical pin to the reverse), the whole, suspended to a rectangular bar in gold, enameled with the ribbon’s colours, the reverse with oval button in GOLD. An excellent piece of the best, Spanish manufacture, almost pristine condition. I R!

A beautiful, rare, early star from the mid 19th Century, excellent quality and condition. I R!

Breast Star 80x76 mm., with chiselled GOLD rays, white enameled cross of St. Andrew’s type with swallow’s tail finals superimposed by a similar cross in Gold, completely set with sea-blue cut stones, oval centre medallion with the golden, allegoric image of a lady pointing a sword above a fire representing the spirit of sacrifce, surrounded by a border set with tiny diamonds, the whole within blue enameled outer circlet with the Order’s motto “AL MERITO CI VIL” in golden lettering, surrounded by a thin white enameled border, above, a golden Imperial crown, also set with stones of different colours, the reverse, with engraved details, chiselled, vertical, broad pin and two side-hooks, in the original, brown morocco, fitted case of issue, with maker’s mark of "Villanueva y Laiseca, Madrid". A lavishly-made star in the finest Spanish quality, excellent condition. I RR!

Grand Officer`s Set in Diamonds (or "Distinguished Cross of 1st Class"): white enameled, Silver Cross of Maltese Type, 53 mm, the ball-finials to the tips, set with brilliants, flanked by Savoy`s knots, the centre with the image of the saint in gold with enameled details, blue enameled scroll with motto "IN JURE MERITA",in gold lettering, grooved ribbon ring and original neck ribbon with ties. Breast Star, 77x73 mm, in Silver with white enameled arms, flanked by Savoy`s knots,the tips, also set with brilliants, gold centre, with finely enameled details, bright-polished reverse with vertical, gold pin and two side-hooks, lapel miniature in silver and enamels, also set with tiny brilliants. In the original presentation case, covered with red silk, with maker`s mark of Masriera Y Carreras, Barcelona, printed on the inner cushion, the lid, with a gilt silver plate engraved: "La Camara Oficial de Comercio, Industria y Navigacion de Barcelona AL IL MO. SR. D. MANUEL GUBERN PUIG Cruz distinguidade 1a Clase de la Orden de San Raimundo de Penafort". With 24 diamonds for a total of 1, 352 ct. A beautiful set of the highest quality, of this order, instituted in 1944 as a reward for eminent merits in the field of law and justice. I RR!
