Jeweled Neck Cross, 95x4S mm., gilt Silver, the arms’ obverse, completely set with green stones, centered by a white one, the upper arm, set with 5 smaller, white stones, forming the cross’s suspension, linked to an elaborate pattern of leaves and flowers, also completely set with white stones of different sizes, its reverse, fitted with horizontal pin and ribbon loop, with original, emerald-green, original ribbon. A highly attractive, very rare decoration, of excellent Portuguese manufacture from the early 19th Century, excellent condition. I RR!

A first half of 19th century Breast Star of reduced size, 45x37 mm., smooth, grooved rays, Silver center medallion with the Order`s cross in green, translucent enamel, within a silver beaded and lobed outer circlet, the enameled sacred heart, made of yellow gold, surmounted by the cross, mounted to the stars upper ray, with a Biennais-type pin. A very early rare star, of the best jeweler’s quality in extremely fine condition! I RR!

An early, embroidered Breast Star of the Order, 103x83 mm., thick, elegant and complex work of Gold and Silver wire of different types, pale blue silk-thread to the medallion’s outer circlet, tiny loops to the tips, the reverse, covered with thin, white leather, in the original, red morocco fitted case, with maker’s mark of Francisco dos Santos Leite, Lisbon. A very rare piece, of the type from the foundation of the Order in 1818; extremely fine condition, nicely toned. I RR!

Commander’s Badge, 76x53 mm., gilt Silver rays, enriched by silver, chiselled stars, applied, white enameled, 9 pointed star made of gold, centre medallion also in polished gold with separately-made monogram, within blue enameled outer circlet, bearing the chiselled inscription “PADROEIRA DO REINO”, within diamond-cut silver border, gold, broad upper crown, with red enameled inner cap and finely chiselled details, round ring and oval, grooved ribbon ring, smooth, polished, concave reverse, fitted with convex “cups” to cover the rivets, with full-length neck ribbon, with original fastening hooks, in the original, black morocco fitted case of issue, with maker’s mark “h. GROHMANN K.K. HOF JUWELIER IN PRAG” printed in gold to the inner cushion. A very rare decoration, made for an Austrian, high ranking personality, almost unique in this manufacture; excellent condition. I RR!

Breast Badge, 96x51 mm., GOLD, oval medallion made as a wreath of roses, leaves and scrolls, tied as an upper bow, surmounted by a seraphim’s head, below, a blue enameled scroll with motto “PAUPERUM SOLATIO” in gold lettering, an inner laurel wreath enclosing the centre medallion in gold and white enameled details with applied, polychrome enameled scene of Saint Isabel handing alms to a beggar, the reverse with oval medallion with gold royal cipher on white enameled field, above a blue enameled scroll with the date “MDCCCCI” in gold, roman numerals, blue enameled outer circlet with inscription “REAL ORDEM DE SANTA ISABEL”. Large, crown suspension with red- and-green enameled “jewels” and red enameled inner cap, gold suspension ring, through the upper orb, in wooden case, lined in red. A very rare, lavishly-made badge of this high order, instituted in 1801 and limited to 26 living ladies of the highest nobility, as a reward to their continuous and meritorious assistance to orphans and poor people, extremely fine condition.
