Commander`s Cross, gilt Silver, one side enameled Malta cross, between the arms a crown of thorns, in the centre the cipher of King Carol II, on reverse hallmarked "crown-37-24-HW", maker`s mark "HW", Heinrich Weiss, Bucharest, with original enameled suspension loop and ribbon. Extremely rare model with enameled loop, probably of Royal provenance, in best condition. Founded by King Carol II, on the 26th of November 1937, awarded only "Propriu Motu" by the King for merits in war, cultural achievements, or services rendered to the crown. Extremely rare order and class, very seldom awarded, in extremely fine condition! I RR!
