Order of the Red Eagle
Jeweled Breast Star to the 2nd Class, 83x83 mm.Silver rays, completely set with brilliants of different- sizes, the centre with white enameled Order’s Cross with broad golden borders, white enameled centre medallion with separately made, red enameled Brandenburg eagle of earlier type, holding green enameled laurel wreath, within thin circlet, completely set with tiny brilliants, white enameled outer circlet with motto “SINCERE ET CONSTANTER”, separately made of gold with chiseled details, the whole enclosed by a border set with brilliants of larger size, the reverse, showing the complicate assembly of the piece, fitted with vertical, gilt silver pin. A beautiful, extremely rare, elaborately-made star, probably among the first awarded in the jeweled version, from around 1860-70, excellent condition. I RR!

A very rare, beautifully-made piece from 1880 ca. excellent condition. I RR!

AUG. D.G. REX SAX. INS TAURAVIT.”, reverse centre with red-golden, chiselled medallion with black enameled bands and applied, diagonal, curved crown in gold of a lighter shade, within the blue enameled outer circlet with inscription “VIRTUTI IN BELLO” in gold lettering, with the text running downwards, fixed, upper crown, grooved link-ring in one piece with the upper orb, oval ribbon ring and loop; full-length, modern neck ribbon with long ties. A very rare old knight cross worn on as commander as allowed in 1866. I RR!
