A jewelled Knight`s Badge of slighty reduced size, 3rd Republic (1870-1940), 47x32 mm, in gilt silver with obverse arms, completely set with brilliant-cut white stones; enameled laurel and oak leaves; centre medallion in gold with female head, blue enameled medallion`s outer circlet, with inscription "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870" in gold; nely engraved reverse with applied, centre medallion in gold and enamels; with original, ribbon with rosette.A very rare piece, extremely ne condition, with 28 diamonds for a total of 0,89 ct.I RR!
