Numerary Commander’s Star. Breast Star, 59x57 mm., Silver cross flanked by fleurs-de-lys, engraved and chiselled imitating the embroidery, the arms with blue enameled details, oval centre medallion with the blue enameled monogram “C” within an oval of chiselled silver “sequines”, diamond-cut chiselled silver outer circlet, the reverse with convex counter-medallion, vertical, round pin. An attractive, curious and rare star of slightly reduced size, from the late 19th Century, extremely fine condition. I R!
