A Grand Cross (or “Bandierato”) set of the Order; Badge in Gold of the type to be worn at the neck with ruby-red enameled cross flanked by green enameled laurel wreath and crossed swords; white enameled centre medallion bearing the golden image of St. George and the dragon, within gold bordered, blue enameled outer circlet bearing the inscription “IN HOC SIGNO VINCES”; white reverse medallion as to the obverse, but the outer circlet bearing the motto “VIRTVTI”; the lower arm with suspended, golden image of St. George and the dragon; round suspension loop and long ribbon ring; with original, neck ribbon; Breast Star with ruby-red enameled golden cross similar to the badge’s obverse, but larger and convex, resting on four silver rays imitating the sequined pattern of embroidered stars; the reverse fitted with vertical pin. A very rare group of the highest military order of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies; excellent condition. Dim.: the badge, 79,0 x 43,50 mm.; the star, dia. 75,0 mm. I RR!
