A Grand Cross set, instituted in 1812: the badge in GOLD, the arms made of green glass and enameled center of the cross with original suspension ring, this, struck and original sash ribbon; the star in silver, chiseled and pierced rays; the centre enameled centre medallion, the reverse with broad, tapering pin; in original luxury, partially gilt, case of issue with gilt crowned monogram of the Grand-Duc Friedrich I von Baden. A very rare set in superb condition and of high rarity.
