An early badge of the Order in Gold as a 12-pointed, white enameled star with ball finials (except the upper one, fitted with suspension loop), the obverse with the red enameled Order’s cross on white enameled oval medallion; similar reverse side, but the centre medallion in gold, also centrered with the Order’s cross; above, Royal crown with round link-ring and horizontal, suspension bar. A particularly beautiful piece, from the last quarter of 18th Century, excellent condition. Dim.: 39,0 x 22,0 mm. I RR!
