A Commander’s Cross of the 1913 type, in gilt Silver with convex white enamel and flat, dark blue border outlined in silver; obverse centre medallion with finest miniature-painted, enameled image of St. George killing the dragon within an outer circlet enriched by a laurel wreath with leaves of green, translucent enamel; the reverse medallion with Greek inscription also within a green enameled laurel wreath; hinged upper crown with circular suspension ring.
An outstandingly rare decoration, awarded for the highest acts of bravery in the field; almost excellent condition and of superb quality.
