Grand Cross star of Prince size, with brilliant-cut chiseled and pierced silver body; the centre with applied Imperial eagle on polished ground within the outer circlet with the Order’s motto in polished lettering on finely granulated ground and stylized branches; bright polished reverse; concave counter medallion with maker’s escutcheon of Chobillon, Paris; vertical, round pin and two side hooks.
