An unique, jewelled, Royal Bulgarian Aviator’s badge in Gold
Made of solid Gold: laurel and oak wreath enclosing an eagle with spreaded wings (these, set with six brilliants each), flying on a landscape with the beaming rising sun, enriched with brilliants; Bulgaria’s Royal Crown, its pendalia and orb, set with rubies; escutcheon bearing the lion rampant below, flanked by ruby-set ribands; the reverse, fitted with horizontal pin. A beautiful, heavy, cast Gold badge, belonged to the Tsar, that can be considered a piece of the history of Bulgaria’s Aviation. Excellent condition. Dim.: 63,0 x 50,0 mm. I RR!
