Neck Badge with Swords, 62x37 mm, in gilt Silver and enamels, with fine miniature enameled centre medallion, crossed swords between the arms, reverse medallion with Greece`s Royal coat of arms, with full neck ribbon and ribbon bar for the uniform. Breast Star, 56x49 mm, with faceted silver rays superimposed by the enameled order`s cross, smooth reverse with maker`s escutcheon of Spink & Son, London and broad, polished pin. Extremely rare set and extremely fine condition.This Order, instituted in 1936 was rarely awarded and statutorily destined for special merit and outstanding services to the Royal House, in this class, given to high-ranking officers, close to the Royal House only.
