Grand Cross Set, 4th Republic (1870�1940). Sash Badge, 91x61 mm., Silver, enameled, large suspension ring and original, full sash. Breast Star, 90 mm., Silver, hallmarked, with chiselled and pierced rays, centre medallion with Marianne on a highly polished ground, outer circlet with order�s motto �HONNEUR ET PATRIE�, enriched in-and- out with diamond-cut silver circlets, reverse broad pin and two hooks. In original used case of issue, by "Arthus Bertrand - Paris", with gilt initials on the lid, together with lapel hole rosette. Extremely fine condition and rare! I-/II R!
