Sash Badge, 90 mm., GOLD, white enameled 5-armed gold cross with ball-finials, flanked by light green enameled olive and dark green enameled laurel wreath, centre medallion in gold with the embossed bust in uniform of the Emperor Pedro I in uniform on polished ground; dark-blue enameled outer circlet with golden inscription �PETRUS I BRAS. IMPERATOR D.�, sky-blue enameled reverse centre medallion, with a cross of white enameled, tiny five-pointed stars, dark blue enameled outer circlet with golden inscription �BENEMERENTIUM PR�MIUM� and a rosette below, the upper arm, with hinged, Brazilian Imperial crown in gold with chiseled details, �stirrup� link-ring soldered to the tapering, polished suspension ring and a length of the original, silk, sash ribbon. Breast Star, 80x65 mm., GOLD, with five, gold-bordered, white enameled arms flanked by polished, golden beams; sky-blue enameled centre medallion, with a cross of silver, tiny five-pointed stars, dark blue enameled outer circlet with golden inscription �BENEMERENTIUM PR�MIUM� and a rosette with stylized leaves below, the upper arm with superimposed, Brazilian Imperial crown with engraved and chiseled details, the reverse, fitted with vertical pin.
