A Presentation Necktie-Pin from Elena, Queen of Italy
A horizontal, GOLD bar, 75x18 mm., tapering to each end, with elegant, à-jour work, centered by the Royal Cypher “E” enriched by 5 diamonds, sided by an emerald and a ruby, signifying Italy’s colours; the reverse, fitted with round, horizontal pin with safety-catch, in the original, Savoy-blue leather presentation case, with fitted, inner compartment. A rare jewel, probably awarded to a Diplomat or as a token of gratitude, by the Queen of Italy, dating back to the 2nd quarter of 20th Century; excellent condition.I RR!
