Framing the cross, Sulpician-inspired assembly composed of the living Christ polished in reconstituted ivory powder, wooden cross, oval frame with Louis XV style ribbon knot pediment, engraved silver-plated brass surround. Wooden counter-back. Dimensions 42 x 26.5 cm overall, Christ alone 15.2 x 12.5 cm. Late 19th century. Good condition.
