A Spear-head
Made of Iron, with tongue-shaped blade of flattened lens section, broadening at the base into two short side-wings, the blade, engraved with a pattern of foliage and stylized ornaments on both faces, conical, round socket, with moulded ring about its middle and a long spike of square section to be inserted in the (missing) wooden staff. A weapon of rare typology, known to be used either for hunting or war, dating to the late 17th - early 18th century, inspired by similar, European staff-weapons, excellent condition. Full length 59,0 cm, the blade 48,0 cm. II
