Order of the Golden Fleece
An early Jeweled Fleece Badge, 25x21 mm., GOLD, with finely chiseled details and the “riband”, set with diamonds all around; strong, round upper loop and suspension ring. An extremely rare piece, dating to the early 18th Century, when such decorations were worn also suspended to thin chains or silk ribbons, excellent condition and signs of wear, making the piece even more attractive.
